The intense, grassy and pithy-lemon aromas, as well as a swathe of fresh herbs, all make for an attractive young wine. Starting with the 2019 L'Esprit De Chevalier Blanc, which is the second white of the château, it reveals a light gold hue to go with classy, classic Bordeaux Blanc notes of ripe lemon, honeyed pineapple, spice, and some chalky minerality. Medium-bodied and elegant on the palate, it shows the vibrant, pure, elegant style of the estate and is already hard to resist. It's well worth buying and drinking, especially if it helps you give the top wine a few years in the cellar.
