In contrast to most of the wines in the range, this is sufficiently reduced so as to need a thorough aeration if you're tempted to try a bottle young. More interesting are the supple and highly energetic medium weight flavors that also possess a lovely texture though not the same mid-palate density of the Referts, all wrapped in a sneaky long finish where the complexity arrives just as the finish begins to die away. This is very classy and a wine that's going to benefit substantially from at least some patience. 2031+
