Stains the palate with intense, mineral- and pepper-accented blackberry, boysenberry, bitter chocolate and spicecake flavors; a floral pastille nuance builds through the back half. Chewy, youthfully gripping tannins frame an impressively long, flora-tinged finish that shows outstanding definition and dark fruit thrust.
