A fuller ruby purple, fully ripe, juicy red fruit, more substantial than Couchereaux, a fine fresh acidity and fewer tannins. Boucherottes achieves generosity while retaining precision. Lovely. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted: October 2023. ***** 5 star wine
Bright ruby in the glass and led by sweet strawberry fruit on the nose, this is a polished, slick style for Beaune that cloaks its tannins in a supple fruit core. Strawberry and raspberry jam come through on the palate with a light pithiness. Succulent and soft to the finish.
