A very spicy and well-layered nose of black fruit and violets is very much in keeping with the attractively spiced rich, round and solidly well-concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess a velvety mouth feel, all wrapped in a mouth coating finish. Like several of the wines in the range, this is exactly what it is supposed to be, e.g. very Vosne. An admirable villages with a certain robustness to the finish. Drink: 2016+
