This is made from 30-35 year old vines on the flatter upper part of the vineyard. Mid lemon and lime, the bouquet is still showing a touch of reduction. Compared to Forêt, this is more in the saline style. Brilliantly balanced, Montmains (or Monts Mains chez Raveneau) seems to have avoided any suspicion of, softness this year. Dancing fruit at the complex finish.
