A touch lighter in colour than some of the other wines. One of the most aromatic in the line up - almost floral but with some gamey notes coming through as well. Really quite a complex nose - lots going on - almost a bit confusing! Quite meaty on the palate with lots of savoury notes and Asian spice/soy. Quite a mineral backbone too and lots of tannin but all quite round. This definitely needs lots of time or lots of air but the potential is unquestionable.
Restrained nose, more earth and truffle character. Has a blend of power and peppery notes and powdery tannins. Unrelenting at the moment. Quite hard to see through the powerful tannins. 2023-2030
