Chablis Les Clos, Domaine François Raveneau 2015

Tasting Notes

As is often the case this is the most elegant, if also the most restrained, wine in the range with its cool, pure and reserved nose of citrus, white flower, iodine and sea breeze-scented aromas that also exhibit mineral reduction whiffs. The refinement continues on the rich and full-bodied flavors that manage to retain both good delineation and plenty of minerality on the palate coating, clean, focused and hugely long finale. This is on the drier side in the context of the vintage and should amply reward at least a decade, and perhaps even a bit more, of bottle age.
