Chambertin, Jean-Marie Fourrier 2014

Tasting Notes

Like the Clos de Bèze moderate wood can be found on the brooding nose of black pinot fruit that is liberally laced by notes of earth and animale nuances. The lush and very generous medium weight plus flavors possess both good energy and fine precision while delivering excellent power and minerality on the balanced, long and youthfully austere finale. Once again I would suggest buying this only if you have the intent of aging it for at least 8 years or so.
