Here the moderately oaked nose displays notes of black berry liqueur and an abundance of spice elements. There is good verve to the intense mineral-driven middle weight flavors that possess firm supporting tannins on the balanced, delicious and impressively persistent finish. This is really very good and the supporting tannins are even finer if denser than those of the Petits Monts.
