A shy but delicately spicy nose of beautifully layered red berry fruit and plum gives way to moderately structured flavors that enjoy very good mid-palate concentration while being shaped by very fine-grained tannins. This understated and notably Vosne-like effort is really quite good; moreover, it displays excellent balance and length.
