An explosive and notably fresh nose of menthol, vanilla, anise, earth and intense animale notes highlight bigger, richer and more powerful flavors that are not quite as finely detailed but possess more depth and more overall potential. In sum, this is long and strong and it will age well though be approachable with a decade's cellar snooze. Really impressive for the vintage and recommended.
