Vosne Romanée, Domaine d'Eugénie 2009

Tasting Notes

**Note: this is comprised of Les Communes and Les Vigneux and in 2009, part of the 1er Les Brûlées**
A soft touch of wood sets off wonderfully spicy and exceptionally fresh aromas of both blue and black pinot fruit that give way to supple and very seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess silky tannins and excellent length. There is a touch of austerity on the finish though the overall impression is one of classic Vosne seduction. A first-rate villages.

A deft touch of wood sets off wonderfully spicy and exceptionally fresh aromas of both blue and black pinot fruit that give way to supple and very seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess silky tannins and excellent length. There is a touch of warmth on the finish though it's not really enough to significantly affect the overall sense of balance.
