Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses, Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier 2007

Tasting Notes

The wonderfully spicy but still somewhat restrained nose reflects a mix of both primary and secondary fruit along with pretty dried floral wisps. There remains excellent verve and minerality to the utterly delicious middle weight flavors that terminate in a beautifully long, focused and still ever-so-mildly austere finale. This classy effort is still on the way up though it's close enough to its apogee that it would be no crime to open a bottle now. In a word, lovely. (Drink starting 2025)

Medium-full colour. A touch of new oak on the nose. Ripe, subtle nose. Lots of class. Medium-full body. Cool. Stylish. Lots of energy. A lovely, fresh, balanced wine. Very long. Very fine. (Drink starting 2015)
