The 2023 Meursault Poruzots 1er Cru has a lovely bouquet with dried honey, almond and walnut scents blossoming in the glass. The palate is very well defined, with gorgeous apricot and Clementine notes, a silver bead of acidity and a poised finish that belies that slightly higher alcohol content. It's very long and enticing. Drink between 2027-2048.
A clear mid lemon yellow. The bouquet is restrained, showing the four-square side of Poruzots, orchard fruit, nothing yellow in this. Dignified. Shows the wood a little more with a coconut touch, but the fruit returns to swamp the finish. Drink from 2028-2035.
