Tasting Notes

As it almost always is chez Billard, this is the most elegant wine in the range with a pure and strikingly complex, if very backward, nose of pure red berry fruit, minerals and spice hints where the refinement carries over to the tautly muscular and powerful flavors that are underpinned by more sophisticated tannins and outstanding length. This is also terrific though it's worth pointing out that as good as it is, and it is exceptional, it's not necessarily any better than the Chaponnières. Note: from 3 separate parcels totaling .75 ha Drink: 2024+
