Tasting Notes

The 2020 Barolo Perno is soft, open-knit and quite expressive, as it has been in previous tastings. Sweet red cherry, pipe tobacco, rose petal, dried herbs and spice all grace this caressing, approachable, mid-weight Barolo. With a bit of air, this is already open for business. It’s an exquisite wine from the Pressenda family. 2024 - 2035
