The 2021 Pinot Noir Courbes Raies comes from vines planted in 1969 and 1995 in a lieu-dit where he also has Chardonnay. It's a west-facing slope on limestone from Trias with some gray marls and gryphée fossils. It fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts, and the wine was bottled unoaked, with 12.5% alcohol, but the sensation is a little riper, varietal and with a volatile whiff.
