More of a full yellow but still with a fresh tint. The oak shows a little more here, but still as a complement rather than a distraction. Just one 456 litre barrel, new from François Frères. This fills the palate marvellously, sensual yet with a dynamic energy, the oak entirely in harmony with the intensity and indeed the style of the wine. Waves of serene flavour. A gorgeous example which will need cellaring for a decade. Do not waste this by opening bottles too early in their life.
