One hectare, planted in an old quarry between different sections of Meursault Perrières in 1977, but just granted Bourgogne status. Sold at a Meursault price and I have awarded the Star rating as if it were a Meursault. Fine light colour, a touch saline on the nose, quite fine and stylish, good length, with elegant minerality underpinned by the house style of rich fruit and oak. Good length too.
Notes of matchstick and wood make for a pungent introduction to the succulent, dense and stony medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent richness and sap that buffers the moderately firm citrus-tinged acid spine shaping the lingering finish. While this really isn't a Bourgogne, it's still very good. Drink starting 2022.
