Another site that saw extensive frost protection, the 2021 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with aromas of sweet yellow orchard fruit, white flowers, buttery pastry, nutmeg and oyster shell. Full-bodied, satiny and multidimensional, it's layered and concentrated, with racy acids and a long, electric finish.
