Clos Saint Denis, Pascale Marchand / Marchand-Tawse 2020

Tasting Notes

Only one barrel this year, a new one, 25% whole bunch, with reduction. From the heart of the appellation. Rich purple black. An element of torrefaction suggests reduction, which should be temporary. Then on the palate there is a massive wealth of fruit, very typical of Clos St-Denis, yet supple and with impressive length. Tasted: November 2021.
