Charmes Chambertin, Michel Magnien 2010

Tasting Notes

Noticeable reduction detracts mildly from the otherwise ripe and earthy red berry fruit aromas. The rich, concentrated and brooding large-scaled flavors ooze extract that buffers the very firm tannic spine and confers a relatively refined mouth feel on the velvety, balanced and patently persistent finish. There is outstanding phenolic maturity with absolutely zero trace of excessive fruit ripeness. Note: from both Charmes and Mazoyères
