The medium weight flavors possess sleek mouth feel and outstanding precision while delivering an abundance of minerality on the complex, intense and well-balanced finale. This velvety effort should drink well both young and old.

The 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Estournelles Saint-Jacques has a lovely bouquet with lifted spice-tinged, black cherry and blackcurrant-scented bouquet. This is a charmer. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, lovely black spicy fruit and superb mineralité on the finish. This will be well worth looking out for once released. Superb - though just two barrels produced.
