The succulent, round, very rich and seriously concentrated medium-bodied flavors possess an almost juicy mouth feel before terminating in a punchy, balanced and lingering finish. This delivers excellent quality for a villages level wine and is worthy of your interest.

The 2012 Clos de la Barre is going to be an outstanding example of the vintage, as it offers up a deep, pure and vibrant bouquet of apple, pear, almonds, complex, chalky minerality, spring flowers and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with a silky sense to its structure, a lovely core, superb transparency and a very long, pure and perfectly balanced finish.
