More subtle but still evident wood is present on the softly spicy nose of plum, cassis, black cherry and dried rose petal aromas. The sleek, intense and overtly stony middle weight flavors possess fine delineation as well as solid mid-palate concentration, all wrapped in a dusty, balanced and impressively persistent finale. While this should be capable of repaying up to a decade of cellaring it should also drink well young. (Drink starting 2022)
