There is background whisper of menthol sitting atop the aromas of fresh essence of black raspberry, poached plum and floral nuances. There is excellent volume and mid-palate concentration to the delicious flavors that culminate in a firm, rustic and robustly powerful finish. This is built-to-age but it's not unduly inelegant. 2030+
