Here too there is a hint of wood to the more complex nose that displays an impressively broad array of spice, earth, underbrush and dark currant aromas laced with hints of the sauvage. There is outstanding richness to the powerful and velvet-textured big-bodied flavors blessed with an abundance of dry extract that relegates the firm tannins to the background on the mouth coating and gorgeous persistent finish.
