A solid, deeper colour though not too dangerously purple. A fair amount of oak here, extracted once again, but this can manage it better. Firm tannins, has not lost Volnay, delivers energy through to the back. Good fruit acid balance and length. Drink from 2027-2033.

Intensely fruity nose and firm on the end. Very pretty with a nice, fresh, chewy, mineral sensation on the end. Very fine tannins. First to be picked in 2019. Refreshing. Lightly chewy at the moment. Drink: 2026-2040
