Tasting Notes

(50% whole clusters; the rest destemmed by hand and then lightly crushed by foot): Bright, deep red. Aromas of crushed raspberry, red licorice, smoky minerality and soil. The palate offers compelling complexity and energy, with flavors of red cherry liqueur, flowers and minerals perfectly complemented by saline soil tones. Wonderfully high-pitched for such a wine of terroir. Saturates every square millimeter of the palate on the very long, rising finish.
