The MV PR 20-90 is a blend of reserve wines from 2020 to 1990, with the youngest vintage accounting for about 30%, taken from the MV and Esprit programs. Soft, silky contours wrap around a core of green apple, lemon confit, ripe pear and white flowers. This understated, gracious Champagne is quite the charmer. Disgorged: December 19, 2023. This has so much energy and vivacity and refined, vinous character. It’s dry and focused with notes of bread crust, grapefruit, dried orange, chalk and a hint of clove. All about the tension. Long and tightly wound. 80% pinot noir and 20% chardonnay. One third perpetual reserve of cuvee MV and two thirds perpetual reserve of cuvee Esprit. Disgorged December 2023. Dosage 5g/L. Drink or hold.
