Here the equally fresh nose is more deeply pitched with its spiced plum, violet, lavender and sandalwood scents. There is terrific punch to the medium-bodied flavors that possess a bit more mid-palate stuffing with ample salinity and detail on the moderately structured and beautifully persistent finish. This is very Vosne in character but it's Vosne with minerality and energy. Drink starting 2022.
From 75 year old vines. Reticent, smoky, stylish raspberry nose. A bold attack, rich, concentrated and firm, which has good depth of flavour. Sturdy, ripely tannic, and long. Drink between 2019-2028.
