The 2021 Barbaresco Mondino is a gorgeous, complex wine. This is one of the best editions of the Mondino I can remember tasting. The bouquet alone is so enticing. Wild cherry, spice, incense, lavender, mocha and sage lend notable aromatic presence. Pliant and fleshy, with gorgeous persistence, the Mondino is complex, balanced and an absolute joy to taste. 2024 - 2031
