A moderate amount of toast is not enough to dominate the spicy, earthy and game-tinged ripe array of wild red berry fruit scents. There is very good richness, size, weight and power to the large-scaled flavors that possess fine concentration though there is a touch of bitterness from the oak treatment, though there appears to be enough underlying material that it should dissipate in time.
