Here the restrained nose is much like that of the Grands Epenots with its discreetly perfumed aromas of mostly cool red berries, spice and soft earth nuances. There is excellent intensity to the delicious and powerful medium weight flavors that also flash evident minerality on the impressively persistent if noticeably warm finale. This lovely effort is presently quite understated and in need of at least a decade of keeping. 2031+
