From the centre of the clos, 0.30ha of 60 year old vines. Rich purple. A hint of oxidation from this pre-prepared sample. But fresher on the palate with a strong core of rich red fruit, supple and velvety, not especially detailed at this stage. Very long finish, class at the end. Given the slight imperfection of the sample my score is given as a range.
