Pale tawny gold (a colour very similar to their 1848 ancient tawny). Amazing intensity and energy on the nose. Edgy with masses of acidity - almost madeira-like levels. Very clean and fresh with really revitalising qualities. Dances on the tongue. Not really sweet enough to drink with food. Unique. Bracing. A vino da meditazione?!
