An appealingly fresh array consists mostly by red raspberry, cherry and pomegranate aromas that are laced by hints of earth and lavender. Here too there is a certain taut muscularity to the relatively refined middle weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the moderately austere finale where a touch of bitter cherry pit surfaces. Note that this is notably firm and will definitely need cellaring.
