From c. 100-year-old vines in a seldom seen premier cru site which borders Beaune's Clos des Mouches. This is a formidable Pommard, its bouquet of sappy black cherry, iron-like minerality and incipient soil tones introducing a deep, fine-grained wine laden with crunchy, juicy fruit. Terrific concentration and energy here. (Drink between 2025-2050)
