Superbly elegant with dazzlingly beautiful aromas of licorice, damp earth and blackberries that introduce sappy, full-bodied flavors supported by medium weight tannins and a slightly dry though very long finish. There is excellent acid/fruit balance with outstanding intensity. This is still in the process of sorting itself out but it should make a lovely bottle with a decade or so of maturity.
