Tasting Notes

Deep red. Peppery aromas of raspberry, smoke and espresso, plus an exotic note of roasted nuts. Juicy, peppery and insinuating, though rather closed in on itself today. Not as sweet or aromatic as the '96 Fonsalette Syrah at the same stage, but perhaps more solidly structured.
