Chambolle Musigny Les Noirots, Bouchard Père et Fils 2011

Tasting Notes

An appealing mix of both red and blue pinot fruit combines with subtle earth and spice nuances. There is a silky mouth feel to the nicely precise middle weight flavors that exude a fine minerality on the stylish, elegant and firm finish that somewhat curiously displays a hint of rusticity. This is really quite good if not entirely classic Chambolle as the silkiness of the mid-palate contrasts sharply with the firm and mildly rustic finish. (Drink starting 2019)
