A very ripe but agreeably fresh nose of plum liqueur and earth displays a mentholated top note. There is impressive density to the succulent medium-bodied flavors that possess plenty of sappy dry extract that buffers the powerful, rustic and robust finale. This is a big and very serious Bourgogne that isn't elegant but it's certainly impressive in its fashion.
This expressive and perfumed red exudes floral, sandalwood, macerated cherry and strawberry aromas and flavors. Supple and fresh, with a taut, granular feel to the tannins. Drink now through 2026.
