A discreet application of wood sets off the elegant array of white peach, floral, lemon zest and fennel scents. Once again there is excellent richness and volume to the focused and relatively powerful medium-bodied flavors that exhibit a fine bead of minerality that adds lift to the beautifully long finale that already offers excellent depth. This is classic Porusots in that it's very much built-to-age so at least moderate patience strongly recommended. (Drink starting 2033)
Protected with some success to manage nearly half a crop. The nose is very Poruzots, crystalline, just short of gunflint. This is lovely right across the palate, with a lively energy, fresh apple notes alongside. Long and pleasing. Drink from 2026-2031.
This wine boasts forward, ripe passionfruit aromas with hints of acacia flower, mineral, and spice. The complexity and depth of flavour only increase on the palate, sustained by the wine’s crisp acidity; this freshness, along with medium body and pronounced fruit character, make for a dynamic wine that lingers on the palate. The grapes come from nearly a hectare in metayage from René Manuel. This wine should drink well and will only improve with cellaring. (Drink between 2025-2045)
