As is often the case with this wine it perhaps possesses the ripest aromas in the range with its agreeably fresh array of apricot, white peach, floral and discreetly oak-scented nose. There is outstanding volume, intensity and concentration to the medium weight plus flavors that display well-focused power on the citrus-inflected finish that delivers excellent depth and length. This is blessed with plenty of sappy dry extract that should allow this scaled-down version of a fine Bâtard to drink well young. Highly recommended.
