Gevrey Chambertin Lavaux Saint Jacques, Philippe Pacalet 2015

Tasting Notes

A much more deeply pitched and brooding nose only reluctantly reveals its aromas of dark currant, humus, floral and distinctly sauvage scents. The intense and sleekly muscular middle weight plus flavors also brim with an almost aggressive minerality while delivering excellent depth and length on the driving finish. This has a number of a very positive attributes but perhaps the most impressive is the superb complexity. Drink: 2030+
