This is more elegant overall and because there is no reduction, it is obviously much more elegant aromatically as well with its expressive and ripe nose of a mélange of red berry fruit and overt mineral notes. The red, round and utterly seductive medium-bodied flavors possess excellent mid-palate concentration before culminating in a mouth coating, intense and focused finish that is both persistent and impeccably well-balanced. Note that the seemingly longer than usual drinking window reflects that this will be bottled exclusively in magnum format.
