This is also quite airy and cool with lilting red pinot fruit and a stone and iron component that is slightly less elegant than that of the Pézerolles and leads to focused, powerful and firmly muscled flavors that possess beautiful detail and good power despite not being especially concentrated or big-bodied. Moreover, while not at all forward, the finish is less youthfully austere than usual with the barest hint of warmth. Lovely.
