Tasting Notes

Deep ruby-purple colored, the 2009 Pinot Noir gives aromas of red cherries, cranberries, cloves, cinnamon and a whiff of earthy forest floor. Medium to full bodied, the structure of high acid and medium-level finely grained tannins is in harmony with the muscular fruit and the long finish. It's still a little tight so consider drinking it 2011 through 2016.

Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, RobertParker.com (191), October 2010

Earthy, loamy notes crescendo, giving way to intense black cherry, ripe plum and an array of mineral notes. Gutsy and powerful, but with plenty of finesse and dried floral and spice details. Drink now through 2011. 2,188 cases made.
