Tasted from magnum, the Segla 2004 is now has a fully mature, earthy, cedar and crushed fruit nose with hints of dark chocolate. The palate is smooth and fine, with fully resolved, cocoa-like tannins giving way to mellow black cherries, damp undergrowth and tobacco. Quintessential aged Bordeaux, this is at its peak, and will provide excellent drinking pleasure over the next 2-3 years.
